My inspiration today: Last photo in the last row
Started off by painting the back ground with green.
Then I wanted to add a bit of texture, for that I used the left over paper
                                    of previously punched flowers.
Painted the yellow over parts of the card.
To enhance the paper edges I dropped brown paint diluted with water
Looking around what to add, found the left over flowers and the explore.
Made the banners stuck it with a staple, too unfinished I added the ribbon.

What I used: White acrylic mixed with
                      liquid paint;  blue and yellow
left over paper from punched out flowers

My inspiration today:Second row, first photo
First I wanted to stamp and colour with watercolour pencil,
that did not look nice to me. Wanted to dump it,
decided to see what I can do with it.
                                   Gesso over it all
Made a flower using a doily, a bought flower, die cut flower stacked
a pearl  with distressed embossing powder in the center.
Stamped the word and outlined with a black pen

What I used: Tissue paper over my card
                        Flower stamp
                        Letter stamps
                        Brown stamp ink
Watercolour pencil; brown, yellow, mustard, black
                        Gesso
                        Yellow doily
                        Brown bought flower

My inspiration today: The colour of the door photo, first row last photo.
Looking at the board, I was thining without having to mix something, what do
I have of a similar colour. I thought the reddish colour on the door.
Starting off with book paper (some up side down), I added the red
from there I did not know what to do, 'happened upon' a colourful Christmas
gift tag added that, from there the rest just happened.
Not all successful, mind you. :)
Like the yellow dots - you can't even make it out on screen
that I circled in black - not very nice
and the paper tore apart right there where the "dis" of discoveries was stamped
That got a bit of character by the black watercolour pencil I rubbed over that
area, like with the bottom right hand corner.

If you know why, please tell me for what reason the paper would tear like this.

 What I used: Cardstock
                      Old book paper
                      Colour paper
                      Gesso
                      Number stamp
                      Word stamp
                      Flower stamp
                      Home made circle stencil
                      Embossing powder black,
                      Distress ink - red
                      Water colouring pencil - black
                      Black pen

One Year MOODAVERSARY - 7

My inspiration today: The shells on the first photo in the third row. I was drawn to the intensity
of the green and the rough looking feel of it. After I stamped my shells
I had no idea what to do next. Looking at the inspiration I saw the shells has
yellow bits. Yellow I found helpful.
Back at the mood board I saw the 5th picture in the 1st row. Ice maybe, I do
know, but that led me to my background. Inked green, smeared gesso over and
sprinkled desiccated coconut :) to mimic the fluffyness in the picture.
In the end it looks like the foam of a wave to me.
Fussy cut the stamped shells and brushed the edges with black and green
                                    distress inks.
The word is part of the shell stamp set, thought that goes with the sea.

Almost forgot. The left side looked too empty and I thought; why not try
DeeDee Catron's dot-dots. It was not good on my card. I washed some off,
re-gesso-ed the green area, re-inked it. THEN it had this nice shades of green.
Using the green watercolour pencil I made a few scribbles around the shells
                                     on the card and gesso
Re stamped my word and that was it.

What I used: Card stock
                     Two greens of Distress ink,
                     Black ink
                     Gesso
                     Coconut
                     Cotton
                     Shell and word stamps
                     Black and green watercolor pencil

My inspiration today: Bottom row, first photo on the left
Again I tried to make bubbles.
                                   Again  I failed - miserably.
                                   Therefore my own words to myself;
if at first unsuccess gain understanding :)

What I used: Book paper to cover the printed card I used
                      Gesso

My inspiration today: Bottom row, first column.
                                    No success at all.
I knew I won't like nor have a great effect with a lot of black on the back
ground, my blue circles looked like what is is; big fat blobs of blue
Still I trudge on, added the hole re-enforces dabbed a bit of pink on it and
got it all melted up instead of dried.
Oh well, a fail is also trying, and that is why I am adding this one too.

What I used: a used baby wipe on the card stock, (yellow and pink from a previous dab) a stencil I
made using a punch, blue distress ink, pink fabric paint.

My inspiration today: Second row, third from the left.
                                   Tried to mimic the image.
It looked too stripey and dark and dull.
My solution was to add the rest. From there my word.

What I used: White acrylic mixed with liquid paint, red, yellow and blue
Gel medium to stick the printed page,
                      Part of a feather
Buttons, butterfly bling, card stock stuck down with glue
